Renaming, Rebranding, Website, and Annual Report

Locality Studio worked with the Coalition (NRDC) to conduct a renaming process (previously Pride of Ticonderoga) by researching nearby and similar groups like theirs. The organization settled on NRDC to represent the Adirondack area they serve, with an emphasis on development and togetherness. Once the organization was renamed, Locality Studio developed branding concepts, website options, and designed their annual report.

North Country Rural Development Coalition

Locality Studio reviewed their existing branding, peer logos and groups, and provided initial, simple concepts to gauge creative direction.

The full brand design options included their existing brand’s blue color. The options focused on development and a sense of home and place. The first uses colors and imagery to emphasize the organizations location, while the second uses a symbol of a door for the residential and commercial redevelopments they often complete, with brighter colors. See the full brand options here.

The second option was chosen and provided to NRDC in a variety of file types. We also provided brand guidelines, which you can view here.

Using the new brand, Locality Studio designed the organization’s 2024 Annual Report, available here.

Website

Locality Studio also designed and developed an entirely new Wordpress website for NRDC. The site uses Elementor, a thorough post system, and integrates various donation platforms like GiveButter. We also set up new emails for staff and provided staff training on the new site. You can view the website here.
