Town of Berthoud, CO Rebrand

The Town of Berthoud aimed to complete a rebranding process that resulted in a new brand that:

  • Authentically reflected its history, values, and aspirations, while preserving the unique character that residents cherish

  • Balanced growth with preservation of identity

  • Differentiated Berthoud from surrounding communities

  • Enhanced marketing, economic development, and civic pride

Project Goals

Locality Studio visited the Town in January 2026. During that time, we held a community open house, toured the town, toured the historical society/museum, and held the first Working Group meeting.

The Town had completed a full Branding Assessment project in 2025. We reviewed these findings, tweaking our engagement and research process as needed.

Locality Studio has been providing graphics for a “mini-campaign” via Berthoud’s social media, meant to educate about branding and encourage community participation.
